Situated in the village of Jujersa (Howrah), Jujersa P. N. Manna Institution is reputed to be one of the oldest and leading institutions for education in west Bengal. It was established in 1915 by two radiant landlords, Late Gagan Chandra Manna and Late Ashutosh Manna, in the sacred memory of their father, Late Prannath Manna, in a visionary and ahead – of-era intention to import modern education to the students. Needless to mention, local education lovers also offered their assistance for the continuous development of the school. We have been teaching from class – V to class – XII (with three streams, Science, Humanities and Commerce) under the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. I feel delighted to mention that our institution over the past one hundred years, has had the honour of nurturing a glittering galaxy of eminent students who have excelled in the vast array of fields.
